Firefighters do not consider someone who has been burned a burn victim. We consider them to be burn survivors. Burn injuries cause tremendous pain and leave scars, both physically and emotionally, that take years to heal. That is where we come in.
The Kern County Firefighters Burn Survivor Trust is a non-profit 501c3 organization managed by firefighters and civilians who volunteer their time and services in hopes of making a difference in the lives of the survivors.
